Casual Housekeeper/Laundry (Environmental Service Worker)

You will be responsible for performing duties related to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment and clean, healthy and sanitary linen.


Experience and Qualifications Considered an Asset:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry

  • Experience in long-term care or similar setting

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment

  • Enjoy working with seniors

  • Possesses exemplary Customer Service skills

  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, in English with residents, families and co-workers

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the organization

  • Reliable with good attendance and cheerful disposition

  • Must take initiative and able to work with minimum supervision

  • Respectful and hardworking team player

  • Demonstrate the use of proper body mechanics

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment

  • Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Screening in the last 3 months is required
